Frank there was an earlier discussion on this. The short version was air is the best to use, rather
than other gases due to problems with using the other gases around the arcing. Don't remember
but it was not good.
 
I am oil compensating my two thruster trolling motors. And static air pressure for my main thruster.
So far no need for an extra regulator
