James. My project is in the rain, and rust is a real problem. I have been
using cheap spray paint to protect it. When I need to work on a joint or
particular area, I just buff off the paint there with a wire wheel, do my thing,
and spray it again. Cheap, easy, temporary, and the sand blasting will take it
