Hi Oystein. The refraction probably would be a problem. I never really got
that far with that design. I just kept trying until I was able to get the tank
heads I wanted. ( took 5 months) The windows can be tilted like I have done on
my current project. The 20 inch is tilted down relative to the hull curvature,
for better down vision, while still being able to see forward. The 12 inch
windows are tilted up, to see the surface when ascending, but mostly
forward for regular submerged cruising. Here's a pic on frapper and you can see
the angles relative to the hull curvature.
