[PSUBS-MAILIST] X thruster and surface movement

Joe,

I had an interesting thought.

If you are planning on the thrusters to thrust both up and down....no need
to modify the design. The thruster that is below the water line will provide
turning thrust while positive buoyant. It will try to pull the relative end
under water, but shouldn't be able to override the positive buoyancy of the
dive/surface tanks.

But Like I said....this depends on the thruster action. Also.....the dual
action will allow much more maneuverability while submerged as well. But it
will double the complexity of the control electronics.
