Vance.. sorry to say but Alec is right.
The losses on pressure compensate ceramic seals are much less
special in greater deeps. And you can purchase them off the shelf.
Most bigger commercial water and waste water pumps have them.
And they are more tolerant against with not perfect spinnig shaft
that a o-ring which goes quick away.
