Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] sketchup software, how many of you use it?

I love the SketchUp style of interface, but I probably have some odd mental quirks and had trouble drawing machinery-type objects with SketchUp.  It seems like other people make do just fine though.  My amateur opinion is that it's really optimized for architecture.

I've used MoI a little and it strikes me as a similar, intuitive interface but better suited for general 3D drawing of complex shapes.  http://www.moi3d.com/

I only recently discovered the 3d design software by google called sketchup,
so far the free version feels very capable while having an extrememly easy
learning curve. What rendering software do most of you use for design?
