Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Horizontal Pressure Hull Weldment Supports?

Hello,
Will 316 SS attract a magnet? It may not be necessary in his case. I was looking for SS wire rope to hold a pilot wheel pedistal to a mast. The compass sits on the pedestal. I brought my pocket magent to West Marine, and it seemed intresting to me that one size of their SS cable attracted the magnet and the other size didn't. Both spools had the same advertizing on them, the only differnce in the writing was the size cable (wire rope).
  I used nylon strap.

Tejas is a Spanish spelling of a Native Amerian word which translates to English as "Friend". There was a Mexican territory with this name. But, the German settlers and other gringos came along and couldn't say it right. So, it ended up Texas.
