I tried to find Mystery Mark and his mama and baby
sub by searching for "submarine, tucson, Arizona", I also tried "Orca submarine"
(which he mentioned was the name) and "Mark's mama and baby submarines"
also "mama and baby submarine" but could find
nothing on the web about him except for the posts at PSubs.
In one of my links in the below e mail he
mentioned the subs were being built in Tucson, Arizona. As Carsten said he tried
to contact Mark but never received a reply, I assume Mark's e mail
address has changed. Seems strange that he didn't
come back after changing his e mail though. He may have died?, gotten divorced
and had to get rid of his subs? the county made him move them for
being
unsightly? He may have given up and is ashamed to
come back? Strange that he did all that work and we have heard nothing more from
him isn't it?
I also thought his subs looked very interesting,
especially big mama that Carsten said looked like a Jap sub. I even tried doing
a seach of his e mail address from his posts
that was Submark@aol.com but could find nothing. I
couldn't find anything about his subs in the Tucson newspapers either. You would
think a big rusty sub sticking out like that would get a
write up in a local paper wouldn't you? Perhaps one
of you can find more.
