Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Two man sub on ebay (or buying used submarines)

Hi Dan,

thanks for the feed back on this, it's really valuable to hear from
a K350 builder and owner. I've not seen one in person, just pictures
on the internet and the plans.

My enthusiasm is in no way dampend, this is the most progress I've
made on aquiring my first sub in while, it's very inspiring.
Sometimes my submarine seems so far away, this brought the dream
closer and it got me fired up!

I'm planning on visiting the sub tomorrow. I now know it's a flower
pot, maybe a dive shop sign at best, but it's a ksub shaped flower pot
and I've got a question I want to answer, Can I fit in a standard
ksub without going crazy or getting too bend out of shape? I'll get
the answer tomorrow. :-)

I'll measure the view port metal when I'm there, I'll see if I can
calculate the maximum operating depth allowed based on the view port
metal limitations. If it's more than a few feet, then I might consider
taking off their hands for the scrap metal value if can't find
somebody else to buy it. But then again, I'm not sure I want to pay
to store scrap metal. Would anybody like to practice escaping from a
ksub at swimming pool depths?

Sorry, I'm rambling now.

Thanks again,
  Ian.
