RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] How to trim and ballast bigger boats.
Carsten,
When I worked in the refit of the LG-50 sub, I re-designed the Ballast
monitoring system. I used a sensor from Omega which worked just fine. The
sensor sent the position of the float through RS-232 into the sub, and I
filled the case of the sensor with transformer oil. They are online at:
http://www.omega.com
hope it helps,
Hugo

Unfortunatlly I didnt find up today a
cheap and fine seawaterresistant sensor which is pressuretight up to 50
bars for the 1,7 m ( 5,6 feet) high tanks. Any ideas ?
best regards, Carsten
