[PSUBS-MAILIST] Pressure sensing

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone with an ambient
pressure submersible in the group also has depth and
pressure sensing equipment? This may seem a little
odd, but I am interested in how much pressure 
fluctuates in an ambient pressure sub at a set depth.
In short, how influenced would you be by swells etc.?
Is this effect noticable? Or does the depth smoothly
change with the monor variations? What would the
result
be of tethering the sub to a drop-weight that would
solidly set the depth? Anyone got some info? (I'm
thinking about the "underwater tent" again.)
