Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] escape question

U talking about a 1 atmosphere submarine? if your in an ambient pressure sub, you would need to be breathing your oxygen diluted with helium.
To swim out of a 1 ATM sub at 300' you need to compress to the outside pressure (ambient pressure). I don't think the old Navy no-decompression tables even went to 300' on compressed air. It they did the bottom time would only be 5 min. In any case if your breathing air ( a proper term for 79%N2 and 21%O2) you are subject to a sever case of inert gas narcosis, and probably start doing some pretty stupid things. People have died at this.

is it posible to put my diving gears on ,fload the sub get out cut the fishing net
come back in the sub pump the waters out and come back to surface with out any problems?

Two guiding principles govern Israel Naval Commando doctrine:

1.Every defense system is vulnerable.

2.The enemy can deal with weapons and operational methods that are known; for that reason, naval commandos use imagination, daring and initiative, to create situations which cannot be anticipated.
