East Germany was mainly industrial ; factories, steel plants...etc., before

Good strategy and planning!  I had an ad-flyer for used and surplus
forklifts ( Gabelstapler?  ).  They're chain driven lifts. I wonder how
it would hold up under the weight of a K350 type?  Probably tip the
lift over.  Maybe two could be salvaged to make a hangar style crane?
The engines come in both electric and propane driven.
