I spent all last night calculating every conceivable hull
configuration displacement that could be practical for us.
I think Carsten's original two-seater, dual-conning tower
approach is about as efficient a use of space as I can
think of, and still make the weight criteria AND use steel
for the pressure hull. From the input I must conclude that
weight is one of the top two most critical aspects for all
parties involved. However, with this dramatic decrease in
scale, I hope that with a little creativity we may also
keep the cost lower. Well, Carsten, since this was your hull
concept, would you care to take the lead on pressure-hull
design?
