Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] nuclear psub?

The group I was speaking of was mostly young men at Washington State.
I am actually not an ME or an EE I am a software engineer who specializes
in embedded systems. I also do all my own PCB layout, and often digital
circuitry...But that is not technically what I know. I use the MSP430 series
almost exclusively. The company I work for did a massive evaluation of all
the microcontrollers on the market, and we decided that the MSP430 was head
and shoulders above the competition. I have used PICS, BasicX, Domino, TinyTiger,
Stamps, 8051s, 68HXX, etc. I certainly could, and will design a digital console
for my PSUB. The msp430 has the DACS, ADACS the UARTS and flash memory. Optrex
lcds a cake to interface to, and give you nice ULTRA-low power graphics LCD. Like
I said, the entire system could quite literally be run on a potato.
