[PSUBS-MAILIST] Book review: "Advance Force Pearl Harbor"

USNI Press, $27.95 at Barnes & Noble.

Not much at all about the nuts and bolts of the kyo-hoteki midgets, but
lots of chatty notes about the attack -- military and  civilian -- and
about
what it was like to serve on an I-boat in 1941.

(The one new thing I learned about the midgets was that they were
bolted together.   Three sections;  the bolts were all that held the
things together.   But that's all that was new.)

Other than that, the photos are small and not the best copies, and
many of them we have all seen.   The text was confused, in many
places, probably due to poor editing.
