Yes, I also believe that concrete is a really interesting stuff for pressure hulls. Do you contact Marko Thiele ???
This new "geotex" amor material sounds very good. nevertheless my canoe has a wight of app. 20kg instead of 67kg for the concrete canoe (picture from the homepage ...)

But concrete together with the investigated end caps  from Prof. ROSS could be a very good pressure hull indeed !!! 
The ultimative advantage is the possibility of local support.
