This is why building ambient pressure subs is real advantage.
there is no hull to certify, all parts and equipment are already certified
and because an emergency escape of the sub is always possible there is no
possible life threatening situations.
Also diving in 70 Ft of water is more interesting than 300 Ft so why bother?
not to mention that any kind of design is possible, hull shape is not an
issue, so large windows are posssible, or make a teddy bear, or corvette
shaped sub
