Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Source fro information on Building a psub for sale?

Carl:

I am not aware of any multi billion dollar corporations involved in the
design and construction of homebuilt experimental aircraft? The EAA
(Experimental Aircraft Associations) has approximately 170,000 members world
wide. The EAA does not build aircraft for sale but acts as an association,
just like this news group to share and disseminate information about
homebuilt aircraft. It does not do wide scale testing, it does not certify
any aircraft but it does promote the development of new and innovative
designs for the aviation enthusiast.

At this moment there are more than 14,000 homebuilt aircraft registered in
the United States alone, another couple thousand throughout the world. These
aircraft are all built by people of regular means and skill levels, much
like Psub builders. Many people take ten or more years to build their
aircraft and the average cost is between 20-40,000.00 US dollar. Much like
Psub builders. And many of these people successfully sell their aircraft
after they are competed to other pilots who wish to fly them.

Just a thought....

John
