I've warned him offlist - the postings have all the earmarks of the bad_trans
virus, which was "peaking" on the net a few weeks ago.  I'm on several lists,
and several were attacked - the thing resends itself to your whole address
book.  

You probably know the reason Willy Smith gave for robbing banks in the 1930's:
"Because that's where they keep the money."  Well, that's why viruses are
programmed to rob address lists.
