Hey Stan, Do you have any friends ? (sorry, JUST KIDDING,
couldn't resist a little jab ). I should have been more specific
about the kit. I didn't mean a full-size submersible kit. I had
been searching for a model of the USS Nevada (SSBN 733)
( R/C or static ). After searching the internet, I didn't come
up with anything except for a hobby mfr. that had it on the
drawing board for future release.
However, a full-sized sub kit would be great. I haven't found one
yet. Probably too many liability issues for a manufacturer to
put one out.

I've been toying with an idea about converting a kit into a submersibles
kit. Go to Rqiley and take note of the "Trimuter" and compare it's overall
design/shape to the "Aquasub". Do you see any similarites?

There are sport-auto kits on the market. It seems that with some
ingenuity and modifications to shape and materials that one could
transform one of these car kits into a pSub. Also, I've bought full-sized
plans of surface boats; a kayak, canoe, and a shallow draft sloop.
The kayak and canoe designs seem to have possibilities for conversion
to pSubs, wet or possibly dry. I'm looking into Boston Whalers, too,
for study and consideration.
