Delightful old custom, that one.  I never quite understood it.

Yeah, but the car thing is going away.  Maybe a replica AROGNAUT
or A. JUNIOR might claimed as a farm vehicle, thereby missing
both the boat property tax and the remnant of the auto tax?  
I'll think about this.
