A local radio talk show pundit has named this "FFLF"
The Female Fun Limitation Factor.

Say you and your buddies are getting ready to do something cool and fun -
like firing a spud gun at the fence for instance. The Mrs. appears at the
back door and shoots "the look" in the general direction of you - the Hubby.
Instantly the activity is ceased (or moved to the single buddy's house) and
the fun has been successfully limited.
