RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Stiffener question
Nice drawing Carsten, it beats the mouse and cheese method for sure. For
those of you without any CAD program, I saved it as a Windows metafile. Open
a Microsoft application like Word or Powerpoint, and then from the menus
choose "insert/picture/from file" and point to this file.
Its interesting that the WMF format is actually smaller than the DWG format.
I could just do "save as" and pick WMF in my CAD program.
I tested various formats:
DWG: 13KB
JPG: 43KB
BMP: 1,535 KB
WMF: 11KB
rgds,

Hi Carsten -
I do not have CAD on my computer. My computer does not recognize this type
of file. What program can I use to open it?
Thanks-
Sincerely,
Greg in MN

Okay here is a 13 KB CAD Drawing as test attachment
as .DWG file. I use DWG because this format is much smaller
in size as DXF. Maybe we should combinate this with a simillar
JPG file picture attachment to show what the file contains.
