I also can open the WMF file. 

Also I am able to convert may CAD files to the DXF transfer files 
and than to my Picture Publisher Programm and save them as WMF files. 

Maybe we sholud use the WMF Format in general - the CAD guys can
exchange 
later direct way the bigger files.
