Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Re: PSUB Logo

Hi,

I've kept quiet since I a private preview of Jonathan's fuzzy graphic.
I'll keep my comments private as I don't want to hurt his feelings a
second time. :)

My comments as to how we are proceeding:

1. Yellow lettering. "Personal Submersibles" arched on top and "PSUBS.ORG"
on the bottom just as it is on the web site now.
2. White sub. I like the Perry sub idea. I think using a real sub that is
in a generic shape is a good idea. Not yellow as we don't want the
Beattle Yellow Submarine connection. And not too abstract.
3. Blue background base color. Is that navy blue or a light blue? Dark
blue was used at the web site but is that the better color for shirts?
Bumper stickers can be a dark blue but I would like to use the same color
   everywhere.
4. Does "PSUBS.ORG" need to be expanded to "WWW.PSUBS.ORG" so the viewer
will know it's on the web?
5. Polo shirt, short sleeve, pocket on left side (nothing more useless
the a shirt without a pocket), logo on right side no bigger then
5" wide by 4" high, nothing on the back.
6. On the bumper sticker I can see the logo on the left side of the sticker
but what would be on the right? Have serveral with different sayings?
The one I would buy would have our mission statement on it, "To promote
   and encourage...."
7. Patches. I would like a patch so I can put it on hats, baggage, coats....
8. The polo shirt needs to be nicely done with the stitching directly to
material. T-shirts can be silkscreened. Everywhere else can be a patch.
9. What I would buy would be a couple of polo shirts in Large, a dozen
bumper stickers, and a dozen patches.

Regards,
Ray
