I would think that you might want to tell some body where your going   and 
how long you'll be out. Kinda like a flight plan for airplanes. A float with 
an antenea for communications would be nice. Does any body know if cell 
phones work under water?

What about an exterior air bag system for emergency bouyancy? It might be 
automaticly set for a certain depth or use a big red push button to activate 
it. Once deployed the air bags would float you towards the surface. Any 
thoughts?
