Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] New Zealand Tourist Sub

Hi Guys,

"(SNIP) tourist sub operation being set up in New Zealand... http://www.submarines.co.nz/'

Hi Karl!

Thanks for the URL.  Interesting sub: four passengers; dome windows fore and aft; etc.  Four-to-five hundred bucks per person / per dive, though: I sure hope that's figured in New Zealand Dollars!  ;-)

"(SNIP) why there had been so many hits on the PSUB site from NZ (third highest rate for a country in the world, only 3 million people ?)"

Unless NZ has had a recent influx of Columbian imigrants with Russian accents, I'd guess it's because the Kiwi's are an adventurous lot who love the sea, and submarines fall right into line with all of that?

"Keep up the great work with the videos Cpt. Nemo, what's the Vulcania currency we pay for it in ? But don't take too long, our currency is racing the Aussie $ to the bottom and you know we hate to come second to them. Makes for cheap holidays here though ! Regards,
Karl."

Thanks, Karl.  From you, I'll accept payment in STEINLAGER.  Don't hold your breath, though; the vids have taken a back seat to the prep work I'm doing on the NAUTILUS for the DISCOVERY CHANNEL shoot.  On the upside, the NAUTILUS MINISUB VIDEO is now scheduled to contain footage from that operation, which (hopefully) should make it a lot better.

VBR,

Pat
