How many, in 1997, died in car crashes? Also, which guns? Hand guns,
rifles, flint-locks? Things are never entirely as they are perceived, and
one must always remember the old saying: "There are lies, d*mn lies and
statistics." This just serves to show that it is important to consider
many facets of a discussion before coming to a conclusion. Proper
training from a young age in the handling of these firearms would have
prevented many of these deaths, the mere banning of firearms is no way to
deal with the situation. What are those of us who enjoy target-shooting
or hunting to do? There's nothing wrong with target shooting, nor is
there anything wrong with hunting.
