That's, um .... 25 feet per second, or thereabouts. Crystal clear water on the Bahamas Bank (where I have spent a great deal of time) rarely exceeds 100 feet, is often less, and occasionally more (and very rarely, a whole LOT more). Regardles, it's going to give you a resolving and reaction time measured in micro-yikes. I sure hope the low flying grouper have time to get out of the way.

And our subs don't suck. They vent and blow. And don't you forget it.
