WoodenBoat 21.   I have it around here somewhere.

I'd thought about doing in in fiberglass.   That idea came from a Marine
Techonolgy Society publication in the 60s: someone suggested making
a hull out of fiberglass sections that would fit together.   (Gee, just
like a barrel, I said to myself . . . where have you heard of *that*
before?)

Around here, ten feet is deep enough becuase the water is murky.
