ROTFLMAO!

I cut a Rogallo wing out of an old parachute.   It kinda worked on the 
ground, supported by a clever (if I do say so myself) framework
and pulled by a pair of kids on bikes.

Then I took it up in the tree and tried it.  

I learned about "wing loading" from that.   It sent me right back to
submarines . . . .
