Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] psubs club sub
I'd like to suggest another approach to creating a psub design, and that
is to
have a design contest.
Phase I, would be the paper designs
Phase II, working demonstration model
Phase III, full-scale prototype
Each phase would have to offer a greater prize award to ensure enough
interest
to carry two or three winners to the full-scale prototype.
In the end, the winning design would be the property of the Psub
membership,
from which all could have access to the detail designs and possible kit
parts.
This approach has been used to design several small aircraft.
Best Regards,
Ken Schulze
