Jet engine

Hello Chris:
Did you ever build one of those jet engines? I remember reading up on home
built jet engines a while back.. Seems very exciting. I also came across a
website that gave instructions on building a home built liquid fuel rocket
engine. Very cool! I think what intrigue's me the most is the overwhelming
power vs. small size of these creations. Oh yeah, and the sound that is
produced under throttle. Warnings were given for experimentation within
City limits. They just seem to take on a life of their own. Almost like a
power on the fringe of controllability. Scary, and breath-taking not unlike
psubs.
