Re: support vessels

Yes, Nuke Subz are very expensive. Their fuel is 97% enriched compaired to
3-5% for civilian units. It allows their reactors to be smaller and require
less refuelings. It takes about a year to train the crew, and usually the
nukes are the cream of the crop.|Also, look at the nation's priorities. Just
about anything can be done or any amount of money can be spent in the name
of national defense. Maintaining this defense is a 24/7/365 day job.
Scraping bodies and debis off the bottom of the ocean does not serve
national defense and is done infrequently (?). It's a great idea though.
Dump the Poseiden's from the launch tubes and allow P-subbers to load their
units. Man, what a nightmare that would be. Since I'm an adrenaline junky,
I'd love it. Unfortunately, there would probably be some mishaps. Well at
least it would separate the men from the boys and their foolish toys, Ha.
The Navy is very effective at what they do, and that is to fight wars. Don't
expect them to change too quickly. Let's all call the Navy department and
give them our ideas. Heheheheee...wouldn't that create a laugh.
