Phil,
I'm curious... What do you think of Graham Hawkes' idea of using fast,
streamlined, positively buoyant winged UV's for exploration?
Obviously, not suitable for underwater *work*, though.
I would imagine one of the major problems with his designs would be seeing
far enough ahead to be able to stop or maneuver around an obstacle.
