Richard,
	I had a fax from Carolina Fluid Components describing the spool valve 
I mentioned.  SV08-47C Spool, 4-Way, 3-Position, Closed Center:  Operates 
1500 to 3000 psi and operates on 12 VDC or 115 VAC (full wave rectified).    
The company is up near Chicago and will give you a local or near-local 
distributor (mine is in Tampa).  Priced at $82.50 with a 4-week lead.  The 
Hydra Perfect International pump is also readily available priced at $362.42 
with your selection of motor (they are sending a package of info so we'll 
see.  Also called the Surplus Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.  They are out of 
catalogues so will send one to me when everyone else gets theres (two weeks). 
 All relative as I won't be buying anything until this fall.  Next comes the 
manipulator design on paper, then off to my trusty Smithy with a look of grim 
determination.
	I'm really interested in locating Beta.  Any joy on that?
