SNIP good stuff

A number of people praise Busby's book.. I agree totally.  In fact if
you have Busby's book, Kittridge's plans, and the ABS book, there is
enough to get a lot done.  Of course, I assume a very good understanding
of bouyancy  and stability calculations.

Before hitting the water I'd have a professional check the design for
stress concentrations though.  We don't talk about that much.

Another thing to talk about is cold low cycle weakness of certain
steels.  I'm reading about that now.
