Hello to everyone!
It's been a few years since I've participated in this
discussion group..glad to be back...and I'm really happy that it seems to be
going strong. I was very impressed when I saw the data from the Psub
webpage about how many "hits" we're getting. I never thought
there were that many of us from that many countries interested in personal
submersibles (and their associated technologies).
I too have dreams of a better future: when the general
public begins to see the beauty and closeness of the ocean (why spend billions
to send a team to mars and so little to explore 7/10 of our earth!?). I
hope we can look back on this group twenty years from now with a grin, knowing
that we were part of the first baby steps of man's adventure into the
sea.
But it need not be all dreaming to be sure, as those of you
who've been designing subs and building them have shown. Needless to say,
I'm excited to be able to be a part of this...
