Re: SPORTSMAN 300
ALAN SECOR,
MY SUB WAS SOLD AT AN AUCTION WHERE THEY WERE LIQUIDATING A LARGE "OCEAN
RELATED" COMPANY THAT I GUESS WENT OUT OF BUSINESS. ANYHOW THE PERSON THAT
BOUGHT IT, ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF, LIKE A PACKAGE DEAL MAYBE, DID
NOT WANT, OR KNOW HOW TO FIX IT UP. SO I TALKED HIM OUT OF IT...
IT HAD NO ELECTRICAL, AIR SYSTEM, AND THE VIEW PORTS WHERE NOT WORTH SAVING. IT
DID HAVE A NICE WESTINGHOUSE M18 4 1/2 HP MOTOR THOUGH. IT WAS ON A TRAILER AND
LAUNCHES LIKE A BOAT. THE PRESSURE HULL WAS IN GOOD SHAPE, A LITTLE RUST, BUT
NOT BAD. IT HAS ONE ORIGINAL DEPTH GAUGE AND SET OF MINI BALLAST BLOW VALVES.
I CAN NOT POST A PHOTO BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A SCANNER
I DO HOWEVER HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA, IF I CAN GET MY DAM COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE
IT !!! I'M STILL WORKING ON THIS.
I THINK RICHARD HESS HAS SOME PHOTO'S OF MY SUB, AT LEAST THE ONE FROM MANNED
SUBMERSIBLES BY BUSBY.
MAYBE HE WILL BE A NICE GUY, AND SCAN IT FOR ME... THAT IS, IF HE HAS A SCANNER
!!!
ANYWAY, I HOPE THIS ANSWERED SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS
TAKE IT EASY.
