I think that even slow psubs can benefit from streamlining. If the sub uses less power to move, you can go farther or you can go faster. This makes for more bang for the buck when you get submerged... :)

This would be a good place for the fiberglass shell. Streamline the saddle ballast tanks and you have the best of both worlds.
