Greg, Thanks much; I ordered a WS-108C digital altimeter. I read the reviews first. Apparently several of the people didn't understand that altimeters change their reading when the barometric pressure changes over time.

Scott, bring yours with you when you come to my house. We can synchronize them here before we leave and see if they still match when we get to Muskegon.

Not sure why, but sometimes links that you copy and paste just don’t work. Anyway, the model # is : WS-108C

It’s cheap, has large numbers, is accurate to 3ft increments and costs less than $30.
