             Getting ready to machine some thru hull shaft openings with O rings in the wall of the opening.  Reading the parker o ring handbook it looks like the difference between the shaft diameter and the opening diameter is only .002"  for a static O ring.  But for dynamic o ring sealing it's a bit bigger difference in diameter of .005"  Does that sound about right ?  Also can machine tools for o rings be purchased off the shelf some place?  Thanks in advance.
