Hi Brian,

You need a grooving tool for the O rings. I used one by p Horn, but there are loads of others. Or you could make one. http://www.guernseysubmarine.com/publication2_files/Page12843.htm

Reading the parker o ring handbook it looks like the difference between the shaft diameter and the opening diameter is only .002" for a static O ring. But for dynamic o ring sealing it's a bit bigger difference in diameter of .005" Does that sound about right ? Also can machine tools for o rings be purchased off the shelf some place?
