Jon, I usually try warming the bolt a bit depending on
if there is anything close (wires) that could be damaged by that if it is being
a bugger as once the slot starts to deform then it gets ugly from there. a lot
of times it's enough to break the bond that exists between screw and what it's
threaded into.
I'll pick one up this week. The round head screws holding in the viewport retaining rings on the conning tower are also being difficult so it will come in handy there as well. It looks like there might not be enough room in the motor housing for hex bolt heads, but I'm surprised to see round head machine screws holding in the viewport retaining rings rather than hex heads.
