Vance, It was just a drawing of the penetrator for illustration, but you've got the idea exactly. Strap/Chain wrench is exactly what I was thinking about. I know sometimes you can put a 2 or 3 foot bar on it and get some good leverage. I've never much cared for the rotating motors even though they are practical. Unless you have long arms, you have to scrunch down in the conning tower to reach the controls and then lift your neck up high to see out the conning tower. I'm considering mounting them permanent rather than rotating. I could do that easily enough as is just by locking them in place, but I wonder how they would perform if they were mounted at a 45 degree angle (oriented up/down) similar to the DS2000.
