RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Breathable air compressor
I could easily PLC control a few valves + the hydraulic/water pump and make
it a repeating cycle until the tank is full :)
Thanks for all the answers everyone.. and thanks for the suggestion on the
oil type... Ive seen special filters that allow a spray painter to get air
off a regular compressed air system, the filters remove oil etc etc...
I have a whole machine shop at my disposal... and I'm an engineer of sorts
:)
As for water saturation of the outgoing air.... when you compress air it
gets hot right? Cool it down as the air is being transferred to the scuba
tank via valves and capture the water with a condenser! :)

Correction:
That would work, but you would have only the mass of air that fit the tank
at *ambient pressure,* which is a small fraction of what can be stuffed in
there if air is pumped in.
