Average person exhales .5 liter CO2 per minute.

I'm with Carsten on this one, just turn on the scrubber first thing and 
maintain the atmosphere as close to sea-level as possible.  If you wait 
until the cabin air is saturated to the point of requiring turning on 
the scrubber you may end up in trouble if the components fail 
unexpectedly.  Make sure you design the scrubber to accept a 
hose/mouthpiece to exhale through the scrubber if the fan fails.
