Product absorption capacity and scrubber efficiency are going to be important factors in addition to fan efficiency.  Especially when dealing with granules, their size and how the scrubber is packed is going to also play a part in overall efficiency which means with the identical scrubber canister two people could get somewhat different results.  I think its very difficult to predict that overall efficiency, but should be easy to test in your sub with proper O2 and CO2 sensors.
