Talk to Ian (Irox) about Inertial Guidance...he was working on something 
just prior to Ft. Pierce but I'm not sure how far he's gotten with it.

Jim, Harold Maynard utilized an aircraft gyro in his K-350 "Lake Diver" 
with success.  I don't know the details, however the concept is legit.
